Two residents of the Peliyagoda area aged 30 and 31 have died in this manner after being admitted to the Kiribathgoda and Colombo National Hospital.

Police suspect an exchange of fire between two criminal gangs and that a T-56 had been used in the incident.

Further investigations are underway.
