President - SJB in talks ; Sajith tipped for premiership! Featured

Samagi Jana Balawegaya Leader SajithPremadasa has reportedly agreed to accept the Prime Minister’s post undercertain conditions, it is reported.

 He had reached this agreement attoday’s (07) meeting with the members of the SJB.

It is said that the main conditions of Sajith Premadasa are the resignation of Mahinda Rajapaksa by next Monday and the transfer of some of the presidential powers of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to Parliament. 

However, it is said thata meetinghas been scheduled for tomorrow (08) between the President and a team from theSJB including Ranjith Maddumabandara, Kabir Hashim, Rajitha Senaratne, HarinFernando and Manusha Nanayakkara.
