Examinations Commissioner General L.M.D. Dharmasena said that the transportation activities would be carried out under police protection.

The GCE O/L Examination commences on Monday (23) and will continue until June 01st.

This year, 517,496 candidates will be sitting for the examination.

Among them, 407,129 are school applicants, according to the Examinations Department.
