So far, 92 cases have been identified in the world and the symptoms include fever, headache, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue and body aches, Dr. Jeewandara said.
He also points out that the virus can be transmitted through face-to-face contact with people, through direct physical contact, and through the three modes of use of bedding and dishes used by an infected person, and that in many cases the virus can be cured automatically.
The World Health Organization is conducting a special study in this regard.
