Colombo to experience 16-hour water cuts

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says that the water supply to many areas in Colombo will be suspended for 16 hours from today (16) due to upgrading and maintenance of pipelines.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says that there will be a 16-hour water cut in several areas of Colombo from 11.00 pm on Saturday (18) to 3.00 pm on Sunday (19) due to the upgrading of the essential distribution network.

Therefore, while water supply to Colombo 05 and 06 will be disrupted, the Colombo 04 area will experience low pressure.
