Ministers and MPs queue for insurance

It is reported that several ruling party Ministers and Members of Parliament are opting to insure their property, in the wake of the May 9th incidents where houses and property were destroyed by rioting mobs.

This is also due to the heightened public unrest in recent days, said an MP when inquired by Sunday Mawbima.

An insurance agent confirmed that quotations from leading insurance firms have been requested by several ministers and MPS, covering their houses, electronic goods, furniture and jewellery.
