The two 40-foot containers are reportedly shipped from the UK.
The seized cars include models from car brands - Benz, Audi, Fiat and BMW.
The Benz, Audi and Fiat cars had been addressed to a person in the Yatiyantota area.
However, no owner has come forth to claim the BMWs.
