A sergeant and two constables have been arrested for allegedly soliciting a bribe from an Austrian tourist.
According to the Police, the officers attached to the Kollupitiya Police had demanded Rs. 50,000 from the tourist in exchange for not taking legal action over the foreign cigarettes she was carrying.
The suspects are to be produced before court today.
