A bus which was travelling from Colombo to Wasgamuwa via Laggala for an excursion had reportedly met with the accident.
Three people have been killed and 39 others injured after a private passenger bus toppled down a precipice in the Elawanakanda area of Laggala, Matale this evening (Nov. 14), after a head on collision with a van.
According to the Police Media Division, two persons who were travelling in the bus and another in the van at the time of the accident, are among the deceased.
