The Department of Railways has said that 03 employees have been suspended over yesterday’s (Dec. 15) train collision at the Beliatta Railway Station.
The incident involved the ‘Rajarata Rajina’ train colliding with the stationary ‘Sagarika’ train during an engine change, causing significant damage.
The 03 employees have been suspended following an investigation, and alternative trains have been deployed to reduce passenger inconvenience.
