A 32-year old female has died after being attacked with a sharp weapon in the Technical Junction area of the Keselwatta police division.
She succumbed to her injuries after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital earlier today (Oct. 07).
Investigations have revealed that the murder resulted from a dispute between the deceased and another individual, police say.
Further investigations are underway to arrest the suspect, who has been identified.
