Four former ministers have been summoned to the CID today (Nov. 21) to obtain statements over the Cabinet approval granted to import substandard drugs to the country.
Prasanna Ranatunga, Harin Fernando, Ramesh Pathirana and Roshan Ranasinghe have been summoned to the CID at 10.00am in this manner.
On Nov. 11, the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court ordered to record statements from 18 then-Cabinet Ministers pertaining to the alleged importation of substandard human immunoglobulin vials.
