Four persons arrested during the demonstration by the ‘Jana Aragala Viyaparaya’in Colombo yesterday, have been remanded until March 27 by the Fort Magistrate’s Court.
Taking up the case today (March 21), Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage ordered to remand Duminda Nagamuwa, Lahiru Weerasekara, Ven. Rathkarawwe Jinarathana Thero and a female arrested during the protest.
The Colombo Fort Magistrate also ordered to remand 05 others arrested during the protest until tomorrow (22) and to produce them before an identification parade.
