Four women have been injured after a land mine exploded in Mankulam, Vavuniya last evening (Sep. 05).
According to the police, the injured females are part of a non-governmental organization engaged in demining landmines.
They were initially admitted to the Mankulam Hospital and were later transferred to the Kilinochchi Hospital for further treatment.
Further investigations are underway by the Thunukkai Police.
