The Thelippale police say that 50 Kilogrammes of ‘Kerala Ganja’ which had been stored as case items of the Mallakam Magistrate court in Jaffna, have gone missing.
The registrar who is in charge of the case items have lodged a complaint in this regard to the Thelippale police.
The room in which the case items are stored, is located on an upper floor of the Mallakam Magistrate court complex and police point out that the possibility of an outsider entering the room to steal the drugs, is extremely low.
