Lawyers ask CJ to act against Ranjan

The Bar Association made a request in writing to the chief justice to initiate legal action against deputy minister Ranjan Ramanayake over a remark he has made, BASL president U.R. de Silva said.

Their letter accuses Ramanayake of having insulted the judiciary, judges and lawyers in his statement.
