Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara has said that the Human Rights Department of Korea had asked the Foreign Employment Bureau not to send 52 workers after they were unable to leave for South Korea on time due to a 12-hour delay of the SriLankan flight – UL470.
He has further said that on May 23, a SriLankan flight got delayed and the rescheduled flight on June 04 had also got delayed by 02 hours.
This has made negative impact on d EPS program between Sri Lanka and South Korea, he added.
