Rs. 42.2 m income by CPC due to high demand Featured

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation earned a massive Rs. 42.2 million income within a space of four days due to a high demand following several days of a fuel shortage, say CPC sources.

The daily sale of petrol is 3.7 million litres, of which 3.2 million litres are sold by the CPC-run filling stations.

For the past four days, the CPC had sold 2.6 million litres more than the average sales.
