Six suspects including the former Secretary to the Ministry of Health, Janaka Chandragupta, have been further remanded over the controversial procurement of substandard human immunoglobulin vials.
The Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court ordered the remand of the six suspects until Jan. 10, 2024.
Chandragupta was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Dec. 18.
