Convener of the Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF) Wasantha Mudalige and 61 others who were remanded recently have been released on bail.
They were produced to the Kaduwela Chief Magistrate on Monday (27) and were released on personal bail of Rs. 100,000/- each.
They were arrested after entering the Education Ministry premises demanding that the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka be reopened immediately.
