Former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, and six other suspects have been remanded until Feb. 29.
The appearance of Mr. Rambukwella in court today (15) was postponed due to a medical condition, according to the Prison Department.
Rambukwella was unable to attend court proceedings today due to a medical condition,” confirmed Gamini B. Dissanayake, Prison Commissioner and Spokesperson. “A medical report was submitted to the court outlining the reasons for his absence.”
The specific nature of Rambukwella’s medical condition was not publicly disclosed.
