The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has secured a 90-day detention order on former State Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias ‘Pilleyan’ for further questioning, police say.
Pilleyan was arrested by the CID on Tuesday (April 08) in Batticaloa, over a CID investigation.
