26,000 litres of diesel leaked into the sea Featured

Twenty six thousand litres of diesel has been leaked into the sea from a regional office in Galle belonging to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, reports say.

It is said that the diesel had trickled through a drain into the sea.

It is estimated that the loss incurred by this leaked fuel is around Rs. 03 million.
