A Parliamentarian will now have to pay Rs. 2,000 for their meals starting today (Feb. 05).
This change follows a decision made by the Parliamentary House Committee to increase the fee from Rs. 450.
As per the new decision, breakfast will now cost Rs. 600, lunch will cost Rs. 1,200, and evening tea will be priced at Rs. 200.
