Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said that the GCE Advanced Level examination will commence from today (25) at 2,312 centres.
A total of 333,183 applicants will appear of which 253,390 are school applicants and 79,793 are private applicants.
He stated that this time only the examination hall heads are allowed to use mobile phones in the examination hall and the other invigilators will not be allowed to use mobile phones in the examination centre.
