The University Grants Commission (UGC) said that the process of accepting applications for universities for the academic year 2022/23 will end today (05).
Acceptance of applications for universities was done online for three weeks from September 14.
Accordingly, UGC Chairman Professor Sampath Amaratunga said that the deadline for accepting applications will not be extended.
The results of the 2022 GCE A/L Examination were released on September 04.
Out of 263,933 applicants who faced the exam, 166,938 qualified for university admission.
