Access to the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) headquarters in Darley Road, Colombo 10, has been temporarily suspended for all individuals following allegations of missing files, prompting an ongoing investigation by the Maradana Police.

Authorities have imposed a prohibition on entry into the SLFP headquarters until preliminary investigations into the complaint are concluded, as stated by the police.

The Acting General Secretary of the SLFP, Dushmantha Mithrapala, filed a complaint with the Maradana Police on Friday (05), reporting the disappearance of several ‘important’ files from the party headquarters.

In response, Mithrapala also expressed concern over the police’s restriction of access to the auditorium of the party headquarters, despite its lack of connection to the reported incident.
