The Attorney General’s clearance has been granted to the new Bill prepared to replace the Prevention Of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act (No. 48 of 1979)
The proposal presented by the Justice Minister to publish the draft Bill in a Gazette and then submit it to Parliament was approved by the Cabinet.
