An all-party conference is scheduled to be held today (26) under the chairmanship of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The All-Party Conference is to focus on the National Reconciliation Programme and the President’s Media Division said that all the party leaders and independent group leaders representing Parliament have been invited to attend.
However, Mr. Sunil Handunnetti said that the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) will not participate in this conference today.
Meanwhile, Samagi Jana Balawega (SJB) said that they will make a decision today about attending the conference.
