Several inmates have broken out of the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Centre following a clash between two groups, reports say.
Some of them have surrendered to authorities while a search is being carried out for the others, says Commissioner General of Rehabilitation – Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Darshana Hettiarachchi.
