He was arrested and produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate earlier today (Jan.05).

Another MoH official arrested over substandard immunoglobulin case
Former Deputy Director of Health Services – Mr. Herath Kumara has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the case of importing substandard human immunoglobulin.
Mr. Kumara, who was arrested at the Health Ministry today (Jan.05), is to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court later in the day.
