The Anti-Terrorism Bill has been removed from the order paper of Parliament, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena said.
He told Parliament today that the Bill was originally added to the order paper on October 03 following a letter issued by the secretary to the Leader of the House dated September 27.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said that the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will boycott the discussion called by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena this afternoon regarding the change in the electoral system.
However, Prime Minister Gunawardena again invited the Opposition to participate in the discussion.
