The final rites of Ms. Anula Ratnayake, who had died in Israel, are to take place today (30) evening.
The remains are currently laid at her residence in Dalugama.
49-year-old Anula Ratnayake was a mother of two and had been working in Israel for 10 years.
She was reported missing following Hamas’s attack on Israel on Oct. 07 and it was later revealed that she had died during the military conflict.
Her postmortem done at the Negombo Hospital had revealed that she had died after being shot and bullet fragments were found in the body. It was also revealed that she had not been subjected to torture before her death.
