The party membership of Mr. Amitha Bandara, who was functioning as a Kurunegala district orgalizer of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, has been suspended with immediate effect.
The decision comes after he was arrested during a drug operation yesterday (21).
In a statement, SJB General Secretary has said that the decision is to be tabled before the Working Committee today (22) to be ratified.
