Arrested Chairman of Aura Lanka Group – Viranjith Thambugala has been remanded. He was arrested by police earlier today (May 22) over an alleged financial fraud amounting to Rs. 07 million. After he was produced before the Colombo Magistrate Court, he was ordered to be held in remand custody until May 27.
