The 31-year-old person injured after being shot last night (Sep. 15) in Badowita, Dehiwala, has succumbed to his injuries.
He was initially admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital and later transferred to the Colombo National Hospital.
Police said that the shooting had been carried out around 08.30 pm by two unidentified men on a motorcycle.
The 31-year-old victim has been identified as one Tharindu Madushan Suwaris, a resident of the Badowita area.
