A programme is to be initiated in Badulla district to name all unnamed roads and to provide all houses with a numbered address.
Chairman of the Badulla District Coordination Committee – MP Maj. Sudarshana Denipitiya says that he has received numerous complaints from persons who were highly inconvenienced due to lack of a proper address.
The programme is to be implemented through all relevant Divisional Secretariats and Local Government bodies, he added.
