Bail for fmr. CEA chairman

Former chairman of the Central Environment Authority (CEA), Supun Shashendra Pathirage, who was arrested last week over allegedly soliciting a bribe, has been released on bail.

The Colombo Chief Magistrate ordered to release him on a cash bail of Rs. 25,000 and 02 sureties amounting to Rs. 2.5 million.

The other two suspects arrested with Mr. Pathirage, were ordered to be further remanded until Nov. 24.
