Colombo High Court Judge Navaratne Marasinghe today (24) served an indictment charge sheet against former state minister – A.H.M. Fowzie.
Fowzie faces charges of misusing a Land Cruiser given by the Netherlands to oversee disaster management activities and causing a loss of over Rs. 01 million to the state.
The Colombo High Court Judge also ordered to release him on a cash bail of Rs. 25,000 and two sureties of Rs. 500,000 each.
The judge also imposed a overseas travel ban.
