The 5 students who were arrested over a clash in the Bandarawela area have been released on bail.
The students were produced before the Bandarawela Magistrate Court today (23).
Acting Magistrate – Kenneth de Silva ordered to release them on a surety of Rs. 100,000 and also ordered them to appear before the Bandarawela police from 9.00am – 12.00 noon on the last Sunday of each month.

5 arrested over student clash in Bandarawela
Five minors have been arrested over a recent clash between two student groups in Bandarawela.
Police say that investigations have been initiated over video footage of the clash that had gone viral on social media.
The students are to be produced before the Bandarawela Magistrate Court today (23).
