Former minister and founder of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna – Basil Rajapaksa has returned to Sri Lanka this morning (March 05) from the US.
He was welcomed at the airport by a host of SLPP MPs.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Rajapaksa said that the SLPP has never attempted to mislead the general public.
Noting that he has no plans to return to the parliament, Rajapaksa said he would continue to guide the SLPP with election preparations.
