A bottle has been flung at SLPP Puttalam District MP – Amal Chinthaka Mayadunne, during a musical show at the Wanathawilluwa ground in Puttalam last Friday (July 05).
According to reports, the MP had climbed onto a stage to sing, when the bottle was hurled at him.
Although the MP was unhurt, he had lodged a police complaint in this regard and a suspect had been arrested subsequently.
