Cabinet approval was granted yesterday (Jan. 20) to make 03 key appointments in the state sector.
The approved appointments are as follows :
1. Major General (Retd.) K. H.P. Palitha Fernando – Director General of the Department of Civil Defense
2. Mr. R. A. Chandana Saman Ranaweera Arachchi – Commissioner General of Lands
3. Dr. Mrs. E. R. S. P. Edirimanne – Additional Secretary (Agri Technology) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation.
