Cabinet approval has been granted to formulate a timetable to resume discussions and enter into an agreement to launch the Colombo Light Railway Transit (LRT) Project.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has proposed to commence diplomatic discussions in this regard.
Speaking at the Cabinet briefing today (05), Cabinet spokesman Minister Bandula Gunawardena says that the government hopes to bring back the LRT project back to the country.
