Police have found a cache of weapons at Bandaraththawella, Thihagoda in Matara.
According to the information received by the officers of the Matara Crimes Division, the police found a foreign-made T56 firearm, 10 T56 bullets, a magazine and 10 drill bullets.
No person has been arrested in connection with the incident and the Matara Crimes Division and the Matara Police have jointly launched investigations.
