CBSL silent as online loans given at 365% interest rate! – VAC
Around 40 entities are being formed illegally to provide online loans, the Voice Against Corruption (VAC) says.
Noting that these loans are given at an interest rate of 365%, the VAC charges that neither the Central Bank nor the IGP has given this matter the due attention.
The VAC revealed this during a media briefing today (23), which was attended by the convener – Wasantha Samarasinghe, several representatives from the organisation as well as several persons who had fallen prey to these entities.
