The President has appointed new chairmen to the Election Commission (EC) and the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL).
Retired Supreme Court Judge – Justice Mr. L.T.B. Dehideniya has been appointed as the Chairman of the HRCSL while former Additional Commissioner General of Elections – Mr. R.M.A.L. Rathnayake has been appointed as the Chairman of the EC, the President’s Media Division reports.
