Several changes in the Health Ministry could take place in the coming weeks, ‘Monara’ reports.
It says that the shake up is expected to take place within several entities under the MoH, including the Medicine Supplies Division (MSD), the State Pharmaceutical Corporation (SPC), State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation (SPMC) and the Medical Research Institute (MRI).
Calls for reforms have been made over several recent scandals in the Health sector.
Some reports have also hinted at a change in the ministerial position with a certain opposition MP reportedly expressing willingness to take up the crisis ridden Health sector under his wing.
