The Chinese embassy in Colombo has donated Rs. 08 million to the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka.
The donation was handed over by the Chinese ambassador in Sri Lanka – Mr. Qi Zhenhong yesterday (Nov. 20).
This follows a Chinese donation of fishing nets and rice worth Rs. 1.5 billion earlier this year, which was handed over to the fishing community of the Northern and Eastern Provinces.
