The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has taken over the investigation with regard to the death of ex-minister – Lohan Ratwatte’s private secretary, who was found dead yesterday (Oct. 20) with gunshot wounds.’News1st’ says that a senior police officer in charge of the Kandy area has confirmed this.
The private secretary, a 50-year-old resident of Werellagama, was found dead from gunshot wounds yesterday afternoon at a house near an office belonging to Lohan Ratwatte in the Mahaiyawa area in Katugastota.
